sketching for ny cares
Yesterday, my NY Cares partner and I went to the school to sketch our mural design on the walls. Less than a week to go till NY Cares Day! awesome day at atlantic antic
The Atlantic Antic was a HUGE success and as of now the plan is to be back outside of Acorn again next year! The weather…absolutely perfect. Tons of people turned out and the entire street was packed with people and vendors for as far as you could see. I set-up an easel and a small workspace and drew character illustrations. atlantic antic on sunday
The Atlantic Antic is this Sunday, Oct 4th! And I’m doing my little portrait drawings of kids (adults too) outside of Acorn Toy Shop again from 12-4pm. Acorn is at 323 Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn. ny cares school visit
I went to see the school that I was assigned to design and paint a mural at for NY Cares Day and got to see the space. It is huge! The space is in the cafeteria of the school and there area these giant columns that divide the space into 5 smaller spaces instead of having one giant wall.
